AUG Modular Scope Mount

The Clawgear AUG Modular Scope Mount is designed for AUG platforms equipped with the original 1.5x optical sight. It encloses and protects the integrated optic while adding mounting options for lightweight Picatinny accessories such as backup sights, IR aiming devices, or compact illumination tools. Due to its polymer construction, this mount is not intended for heavy or recoil-sensitive accessories like optics or magnifiers.

Manufactured from glass-fiber reinforced polymer, the mount combines high durability with minimal weight. The integrated NATO STANAG 4694 Picatinny top rail features 16 slots and allows direct accessory mounting along the optical axis. Optional side rails can be attached on either side for extended configurations. Infrared-reducing additives are blended into the polymer to help lower the system’s IR signature.

Two flip-up lens covers are included to protect the AUG’s original optics from dirt, moisture, and impact damage during operational use.

Installation

Ensure the weapon is unloaded and safe. Place the left shell (without top rail) over the left diagonal optic screw. Firmly press the right shell onto the left side until all snap locks audibly engage. Insert the supplied hex nuts into the recesses of the right shell and tighten the screws from the left side until snug. Finally, attach the included lens covers to both ends.
